This Mustang is fitted with a number of rare options include an all glass rear window, a fully functional power folding top, and the “Interior Decor Option” which included upgraded door panels with arm rests and horizontal metal trim, metal trim on foot petals, brushed aluminum center stack and center console, and an electric clock. Other performance options include heavy duty suspension components, power front disc brakes, power steering, and dual exhaust. The transmission shifts very nicely and crisp as it should. The engine runs strong and sounds healthy. This Mustang was also optioned with the C6 automatic as well as the 3.00 rear axle. The S-Code 390 was advertised as 320 HP with a four barrel carb. Now understand that only about 6% of all Mustangs received the “S” Code 390cid engine, only 8% of those were convertibles. Total production of standard interior convertibles for 1967 was 38,751. This unusual 1967 Mustang Convertible is one of a handful of 1967 Mustangs with the optional 390 big block V8. These cars produced great results on the race tracks around the word and cruising around on the streets. An FE series big block, C6 automatic transmission and a 9″ rear end give this ’67 one of the most stout drive lines available. An S-Code (390) Mustang in its self is rare but when combined with a power convertible top, power steering, power brakes and AC, it becomes even more special. When you look under this GTA it's solid from front to back. The brakes are Front Disc that are Power and it also has Power Steering. As you can see from the pics the AC compressor is the York style which is correct for this year. The engine is dressed with Ford Chrome Valve covers and a Chrome Breather Top. Under the hood it's powered by the '67 Model 390 V8 that's mated to the Automatic Trans and 9” Rear End. To complete the interior this 'Stang it has Factory AC and Stock Seat Belts. This is a floor shift car with the console delete, but has had the cruise control added. Also, it comes with the overhead console that has the dual map lights. This Mustang has the tilt away column along with the factory tach. On the inside it's done in the Saddle Tan Luxury Interior that provides a beautiful complement to the exterior. This '67 is sitting on a set of factory chrome rallies with BF Goodrich white letter tires. Also, it has the driving lights in the grill and with dual chrome mirrors and the working power antenna. This 'Stang has the side scoop to cool the rear brakes. When you look down the side the panel fit it is good with straight panels. His story was the inspiration for the television series “The 6 Million Dollar Man.” The body is covered in Spring Time Yellow that that has a slick finish and killer eye appeal being accented by the Black GTA stripes.
